Application
At Holt Doctors, we understand that embarking on a new chapter in your medical career and relocating to a new country can be both exciting and challenging. That's why we are here to support you every step of the way.
Our dedicated team is committed to making your journey to the UK as smooth and rewarding as possible. Importantly, we will do all the liaison with the hospital for you - organising interviews and negotiating on your behalf.
Getting to know you – we take the time to get to know who you are and what you want from your new role, meaning we can find the job that will be the perfect fit for you.
Finding career enhancing opportunities – we have contacts at NHS Trusts across the UK, so are best placed to scout the best opportunities and make sure that your CV ends up in front of the right person.
Even if a hospital isn’t currently advertising a role suitable for you, we can speak to them about any gaps they might have coming up.
If you see a job on NHS Jobs, let us know - we’re in a better position to make an application to the hospital for you as we have contacts in medical staffing and the department at most trusts to give you a better chance than those applying themselves.

Interviews
If a Trust is interested in you, we can arrange a phone conversation with the department straight away, giving you an opportunity to find out more about the role and the people.
Skype interviews can take place within 2 weeks of a hospital receiving your CV from us, subject to clinical lead availability. We liaise with the team at the hospital for you to arrange this, all you have to do is log in to Skype on the day.
Once you have interviewed with a NHS Trust, we will speak to them for feedback, and an outcome is usually received within 24 hours of the interview.
Offers
Congratulations on your successful interview(s)! Now, we make sure that the offer of employment from the trust is right for you.
We highlight your overseas experience and ensure that this is considered when a salary is decided upon. If there is anything in your offer that you are not completely happy with, we liaise with the trust to negotiate the best deal for you.
If you have more than one offer, we can help you look at them objectively and advise on which role offers more of what you are looking for.
Relocation
If you require visa sponsorship, we arrange for you to work with our visa specialist who will oversee the process and provide valuable guidance and assistance.
We connect you with a relocation specialist who will work with you to get you and your family settled into your new region.
