Ideal qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, along with relevant fellowship training in subspecialties such as hematopathology, cytopathology, or molecular pathology. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential, as you will be tasked with conveying complex information to both medical professionals and patients.
