We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Psychiatry Core Trainee (ST1&2) to join our dynamic mental health team, where you will gain invaluable experience and contribute to high-quality patient care. As a core trainee, you will engage in a comprehensive training program that encompasses a wide range of psychiatric specialties, allowing you to develop your clinical skills while working alongside experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams. Your daily responsibilities will include conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and providing compassionate care to patients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. You will also participate in ward rounds, contribute to case discussions, and engage in educational activities to enhance your knowledge and expertise in psychiatry.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a relevant medical degree and have completed the Foundation Programme or equivalent. Strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential, as you will be working closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals. You will be expected to demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development, as well as a willingness to engage in reflective practice.
