Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Acute Medicine Foundation Year 2 (FY2) doctor, where you will play an integral role in providing exceptional patient care within our fast-paced acute medicine unit. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of medical conditions, conducting thorough patient assessments, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with senior clinicians. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include admitting patients, performing necessary procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and ensuring smooth multidisciplinary communication to optimize patient outcomes. Additionally, you will be actively involved in ward rounds and contribute to teaching and training opportunities for junior staff and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and professional development. To succeed in this role, you should possess a valid medical degree and be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). Previous experience in acute medicine or related specialties is highly desirable, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
