We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery Core Trainee at the ST1 & ST2 level to join our dynamic surgical team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about developing their skills in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a Core Trainee, you will be integral to providing exceptional patient care, involved in both elective and emergency orthopaedic cases. Your responsibilities will include assisting in surgical procedures, managing patient care pre- and post-operatively, and participating in ward rounds. You will also have the opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to treatment plans and ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to our patients. To succeed in this role, you should possess a medical degree and have completed the Foundation Programme or equivalent. Strong communication skills, a commitment to teamwork, and a proactive approach to learning are essential. You will be expected to demonstrate clinical competence, show initiative in managing patient cases, and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current best practices in orthopaedic and trauma surgery.
